July 2026 was the busiest release month in recent Movegistics AI history: 22 separate releases shipped between July 2 and July 29, spanning dispatch, the Crew App, sales and estimating, email infrastructure, QR digital inventory, and a complete military shipment workflow. This roundup is the operator’s version — what shipped, why it matters to your P&L, and where to find each feature in the CRM. Full step-by-step release notes for every item live on the Movegistics AI Product Updates board.

If you only read three sections, read these: Crew Tracking 2.0 changes how dispatch sees every active job on a map, the Military Shipment Workflow digitizes DoD household-goods paperwork end to end, and Outlook Email Inbox Integration brings Microsoft 365 email natively into the CRM.

Operations & Dispatch

Crew Tracking 2.0 — Work Order-Based Live GPS Tracking (July 29)

The headline release of the month rebuilds how live GPS tracking works. Previously, GPS was tied to the supervisor — so a supervisor running multiple active Work Orders produced one shared location for every job. Crew Tracking 2.0 ties tracking directly to each Work Order: one pin per job, at that job’s latest saved location, with status colors matched between the map and the work order list (orange for In Progress, green for Complete, blue for New).

The dashboard now shows the full day by default — every Work Order scheduled for today with its current status — instead of a blank map between jobs. Every card and pin popup carries a freshness timestamp (“Updated 10 hr ago”), so dispatchers can tell a live pin from a stale one at a glance, and when a pin can’t be shown, an information panel explains exactly why. Find it under Operations → Crew Tracking. We published a full operational deep dive: GPS Crew Tracking for Moving Companies.

Role-Based Resource Allocation (July 22)

Dispatchers can now define exactly which roles a job requires — for example 1 crew leader, 1 driver, 2 helpers, 1 straight truck — directly in the Work Order’s Resource Allocation panel. Workers, contractors, and vehicles each carry configurable role types, the Assign screen filters by those types, and built-in validation alerts the dispatcher if the assigned team doesn’t match the requirement (or over-allocates). Configure role types under Settings → Resources.

Worker & Contractor Accept/Decline Workflow (July 2)

Workers and contractors can now confirm or decline assigned Work Orders from the Crew Board or Crew App before the job — with a recorded decline reason (sick, vacation, assigned to another job). Dispatchers see accepted/declined badges on the Assign Team screen in real time, which means unavailable crew members get identified and replaced without a single phone call. Permission-controlled at two levels: per service type under Settings → Crew App → General → App Permissions, and per worker under Settings → Resources → Workers.

Custom Text Colors for Work Order Activities in Monthly Schedule (July 2)

Work Order Activities on the monthly calendar now support a custom text color alongside the existing background color, configured under Settings → General → WO Activities. Small change, real effect: dispatchers can build a color language where job types are recognizable at a glance across the whole month.

QR Digital Inventory & Military Moves

Major Release: Military Shipment Workflow & Digital DoD Forms (July 16)

Mover Inventory now has a complete military household-goods (HHG) workflow: a dedicated Military move type with GBL/BOL, TSP, SCAC, and rank/grade fields; eight DoD forms generated automatically and pre-filled from shipment data (DoD-HVI origin and destination, DD-619 origin and destination, DP3 Real Property Damage origin and destination, Firearms Declaration, and DD-1840); browser-based e-signatures the customer completes from their own device; real-time signature tracking; and a one-click Closeout Packet that bundles every signed form into a single PDF and emails it to the Transportation Service Provider.

It works standalone in Mover Inventory or integrated with the CRM — create a Military Work Request in Movegistics AI and push it to Mover Inventory at dispatch. This is the biggest compliance-workflow release of the year, and we’ve written a dedicated breakdown: Military Moving Software: Digital DoD Forms and E-Signatures for HHG Shipments.

Mobile QR Inventory Enhancements (July 13)

Three releases landed the same day for QR digital inventory field crews:

  • Richer item documentation. New capture fields across the app: Driver ID for workers, van line affiliation and agent ID at the company level, serial and security-seal numbers for high-value items, five mandatory fields for firearms (serial, make, model, caliber/gauge, seal number), a predefined bulky-articles list (automobile, boat, grand piano, motorcycle, spa), and safe weight classifications for handling planning.
  • Bulk Unit Reassignment (Reshuffle). Select multiple inventory items — or Select All — and reassign them to a different storage unit in one click during the Add Items to Storage stage, replacing item-by-item edits.
  • Void Items. Crews can mark items as void (with customer initials and a reason) instead of deleting them, preserving a complete audit trail across the app, the CMS, and the Customer Portal.

Email & Communications

Outlook Email Inbox Integration (July 16)

Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft 365 accounts now connect directly to the Conversations module — personal inboxes for individual users, shared inboxes for teams. Send, receive, reply, and search Outlook email without leaving the CRM, with secure Microsoft authentication. Set it up under Settings → Conversations → Email → Add Inbox. Combined with June’s Outlook Calendar sync, Microsoft-based operations now get the same native treatment Google users have had.

Self-Service AWS SES Domain & DKIM Verification (July 29)

Verifying a sending domain used to require a support ticket; now administrators generate their own Amazon SES verification and DKIM records under Settings → Organization → Email / AWS Verification, hand the DNS records to whoever manages the domain, and the CRM verifies automatically — improving deliverability, reducing spam filtering, and protecting against spoofing with no support involvement.

User-Level AWS Email Verification Management (July 2)

Every user row under Settings → Users now shows email verification status — Verified, or a one-click “Verify this email” that triggers the AWS verification message. Administrators get organization-wide visibility into who is authorized to send email from the CRM, and users can self-verify instead of discovering the problem mid-send.

Sales & Estimating

Configurable Estimate Signature Enforcement in the Crew App (July 29)

When Estimate Signature Mandatory is enabled, you can now choose when the Crew App enforces it: at BOL Finalization (the default, existing behavior) or at Clock-In — either before any activity, or only before billable activities using the billable flags from Crew Activities settings. The Signature Needed pop-up routes the worker straight into the estimate’s e-signature flow, and if the estimate is already signed, no pop-ups appear at all. Configure under Settings → Crew App → General.

Automated Estimate Reminder Emails with the Estimate Link Merge Field (July 22)

A new {{estimateLink}} merge field pairs with Email Templates and Automation Rules to send personalized estimate reminders automatically — for example, two or three days after the original estimate went out, triggered on the Estimate Provided pipeline stage. The customer gets a secure link to review and e-sign; nobody on the sales team has to remember to chase. This slots directly into the follow-up cadences covered in our guide to doubling close rate with a moving CRM.

Separate Lead & Work Request Follow-Up Controls (July 16)

Lead follow-ups and Work Request follow-ups now have independent ON/OFF controls under Settings → Sales → Follow Ups. Companies that want converted records to leave the Follow Ups screen and live purely in the Sales Pipeline can now configure exactly that — and lead follow-ups are automatically removed at conversion when Work Request follow-ups are disabled.

Last Action Activity Indicator in Leads & Work Requests (July 29)

A new Last Action column in the Leads and Work Requests list views shows the most recent customer interaction — email, call, text, or note — with an activity-specific icon and date. Reps can prioritize follow-ups from the list view instead of opening records to dig through Activity Logs.

Customize Estimate Template Titles (July 16)

Estimate template titles now support font size, color, and bold formatting in the template editor (Settings → Sales → Templates), and the formatting carries through to the generated estimate PDF.

Default Crating Multiplier & Minimum Crating Amount (July 16)

Two new settings under Settings → Sales → Estimates → General standardize crating pricing: a configurable multiplier applied automatically to crating volume calculations, and a minimum crating charge the system enforces whenever the calculated amount comes in lower.

Associate Work Orders with Work Request Payments (July 16)

Payments received on a Work Request can now be associated with the corresponding Work Order, so the Work Order’s Income tab and balance-due figures stay accurate — and unpaid-customer reports stop flagging customers who already paid. Especially useful on multi-day moves with multiple Work Orders.

Admin & Organization

Persistent Notification Module Filter (July 29)

Administrators can now set which modules generate notifications organization-wide under Settings → Organization → Global Settings. The Notification Center shows only the selected modules — permanently, not per-session — so teams stop re-applying the same filter every login.

Custom Fee Label (July 9)

The fee previously hard-labeled “Convenience Fee” can now be renamed — Credit Card Fee, Processing Fee, Merchant Fee, or any custom label — under Settings → Organization → Global Settings, and the new label flows through estimates, invoices, and payment documents automatically.

Note Categories for Internal Note Templates (July 16)

Note templates can now be organized into categories — Accounting, Operations, Sales, Customer Support — under Settings → Sales → Notes. When adding a note to a Work Request or Work Order, users pick a category and see only that category’s templates.

For Your Crews

Crew App Supervisor’s Field Guide (July 26)

Not a feature — a complete published walkthrough of the supervisor’s job day in the Crew App, from login to final sign-off: the seven-stage workflow, the three-signature BOL chain, valuation election, pre-existing damage photos, break tracking, payment collection, and the four conditions that put a crew on the live GPS map. If you onboard new crew leads, send them the field guide on the updates board before their first job.
