What’s New in Movegistics AI: May–June 2026 — Daily Job Chart, Territory Lead Fallback, Outlook Calendar, System Status Page, and More

Thirteen releases shipped in Movegistics AI between late May and the end of June 2026 — a set that leans heavily toward operations visibility, assignment automation, and onboarding. This roundup covers each one from the operator’s side: what it does, why it matters, and where to find it in the CRM. Full step-by-step release notes with screenshots live on the Movegistics AI Product Updates board, and the July 2026 edition of this series covers the 22 releases that followed.
Operations & Dispatch
Daily Job Chart (May 27)
The biggest operations release of the period: a live operational dashboard combining daily Work Order statuses, staff availability (total, booked, available, absent), truck availability (total, assigned, available, out-of-service), worker rosters, absence tracking, and quick actions — on one screen. Dispatchers can bulk-download BOLs, jump to GPS tracking, and mark a day as Sold Out when trucks or labor are maxed, keeping sales and operations aligned on capacity. Access it from the chart icon in the top navigation or Operations → Daily Job Chart.
Filter Workers, Contractors & Vehicles by Role Type and Tags (June 11)
The Assign Resources modal now filters by role type (driver, crew leader, helper, supervisor), by tags (commercial crew, piano specialist, certified driver), and by search — across workers, contractors, and vehicles. For companies with large or multi-location resource pools, team building stops being a scrolling exercise.
Assign Tools & Equipment Directly from the Assign Tab (June 3)
Tools and equipment can now be assigned to a Work Order during scheduling, directly from Operations → Assign — no detour into the Work Order’s Dispatch tab. Assignments stay at the Work Order level, so two jobs run by the same team can carry different equipment lists.
Crew Damage Incident Report in the Crew App (June 11)
Paper damage forms are replaced with a digital incident workflow in the Crew App: incident category, phase of job, client-awareness status, per-article damage records with up to 5 evidence photos each, supervisor e-signature, and an automatically generated PDF that files itself under the Work Order’s Docs. Claims teams get organized evidence; operations teams get a root-cause trail; nothing gets lost on a dashboard. This pairs naturally with the claims-side release below.
Add Claim Item Photos in Claims Management (June 28)
Claim items in the Claims module now carry their own photos — attached to the individual damaged article rather than the claim as a whole. Combined with the Crew App incident report, damage documentation now flows item-by-item from the field to the claim file.
Sales & Lead Management
Territory-Based Lead Assignment with Vacation & Availability Fallback (June 19)
Territory-based lead routing already assigned incoming leads to reps by ZIP code. Now, marking a rep as On Vacation / Unavailable exposes a replacement dropdown, and every lead for that territory automatically routes to the backup rep until the owner returns. No unassigned leads sitting in a queue during someone’s week off, no manual reassignment work for the sales manager. Configure under Settings → Sales → Lead Assignment.
Auto-Assign Move Coordinator by Sales Representative (June 18)
Administrators can now map a Move Coordinator to each Sales Rep under Settings → Users. When that rep creates a Work Request, the mapped coordinator is assigned automatically. Priority logic keeps it predictable: rep mapping first, then the Service Type’s default coordinator, then manual selection.
Default Move Coordinator by Service Type (May 27)
The fallback layer for the release above, shipped three weeks earlier: each Service Type under Settings → General → Service Types can carry a default Move Coordinator — so local moves route to your local coordinator and interstate jobs route to the long-haul specialist, automatically, from the moment the Work Request is created.
Integrations & Platform
Outlook Calendar Integration (June 18)
Surveys, jobs, and calendar invites now sync automatically to Outlook calendars — sign in with Microsoft from the Events module or Monthly Schedule. Each synced event carries the customer details, Work Request reference, move date, addresses, and notes. If both Google and Outlook are connected, events sync to both simultaneously. July’s Outlook Email Inbox integration completed the Microsoft picture.
Movegistics AI System Status & Outage Communication Board (June 11)
A public status page at status.movegistics.com now carries real-time platform health: outages, third-party service disruptions (Twilio, Cloudflare, AWS), and scheduled maintenance — with an in-app yellow banner appearing one day before planned maintenance windows. Before filing a ticket about a potential outage, check the status page; if it’s known, the team is already on it. Access it anytime from Help → Movegistics AI Status Page.
Migration Balance for Companies (June 3)
Companies migrating from another CRM can now record opening AR balances directly on the Company record — a positive amount creates an unapplied Migration payment (customer credit), a negative amount creates an open Migration Invoice. No dummy invoices, no spreadsheets to support. One entry per company, deliberately non-editable once saved, with clear QuickBooks reconciliation guidance built into the workflow. If you’re evaluating a switch, this is the feature that de-risks the accounting side of go-live — worth knowing alongside our complete guide to CRM for moving companies.
Customization
Crew Activity Customization & Sorting (May 27)
Crew Activities are no longer fixed: add new activities (Shuttle Service, Elevator Coordination, Debris Removal), rename existing ones (“Drive” → “Travel Time”), and drag-and-drop the order to match your workflow, per service type. Changes sync automatically to the Crew App. Configure under Settings → Crew App → Crew Activities. This is also the foundation July’s estimate-signature enforcement builds on — billable flags per activity now drive when signatures are required.
Location-Specific Header & Operations Theme Colors (June 3)
Multi-location organizations can now give each location its own header color — an instant visual answer to “which branch am I working in?” — and the Operations module can carry its own theme color to visually separate operations work from sales work. Configure under Settings → Locations → Edit Location.
